What to Expect on Your First Visit

Consultation

On your first visit to our office you will be welcomed by our friendly and knowledgeable staff, then introduced to Dr. David Bahm. Before you arrive at our offices, you will be asked to fill out these Required Forms. The new patient intake forms give information about you, your condition(s) and your health goals.

Dr. Bahm will spend about an hour with you and do a full evaluation and examination. He will ask you specific questions about your health to determine if Chiropractic care may be of benefit to you. Once your conditions and health goals have been identified, Dr. Bahm will prescribe a treatment plan and you may be adjusted at your first visit.

Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

Examination

After your initial consultation, you will receive a complete Chiropractic examination. This examination includes testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend, as well as other standard orthopedic, neuralgic, postural, and physical examinations. This examination gives the doctor valuable information regarding your condition to evaluate how Chiropractic care can help you. If necessary, the doctor may refer you for X-rays or additional testing procedures.

X-rays

X-rays are sometimes required to get a better understanding of a patient's condition. The need for X-ray is considered on a case by case basis.

Report of Findings

Once all the information has been evaluated and examinations have been performed, Dr. Bahm will give you a report of findings and make recommendations for treatment.
